REPORT ON – E-FIR Awareness Programme

NAME OF THE EVENT:  A Seminar on “e-FIR Awareness Programme by UMRA Police”

DESCRIPTION:

METAS Adventist College has participated in the awareness programme organized by UMRA Police on e-FIR awareness.  Firstly, all the students who participated in the programme were gathered in the student centre. From there the students moved to the venue, Agrasen Bhavan. At the venue all the students gathered and occupied their seats in the hall. Around 10:30 am Home Minister Mr. Harsh Sanghavi, has arrived for the programme. Along with the home minister Mr. Harsh Sanghavi, as chief guest, Mr. Ajaykumar Tomar, Police Commissioner, Surat and other police force of Surat City were presented for the programme.  Home minister, Mr. Harsh Sanghavi appreciated the Surat Police force about how dedicatedly they are working for the citizens of the Surat city. He also explained the importance of filing FIR online and how police force is handling /solving these issues in the earliest time. Police officer has also presented few solved cases of filing e- FIR with live examples.

CONCLUSION:  With whole hearted support from our President Sir Dr. S. Eliah, Executive Vice- President Sir Dr. N. Mohan Rao, Student Dean Sir Mr Subhakar Prasad, Administrative staff members, dear students etc., the programme was completed around 11:50am.  The students felt really happy and motivated by attending the session. The session will be really helpful to all the students to gain an insight of the filling e-FIR via online mode. METAS Adventist College always believes in educational, technical, social and holistic development of students.
